Laser-Assisted In Situ Keratmileusis (LASIK)

This procedure treats nearsightedness, farsightedness and astigmatism. The surgeon cuts a flap in the corneal stroma, and then uses an excimer laser to remove corneal tissue under the flap. LASIK usually takes less than one minute per eye.
